Best February 1, 2006 Both of the two best pictures are tied directly to time: this one wins, however, as second place was posed and perfected over a few takes, whereas this one was captured completely spontaneously. We were playing Mario Kart and making it a drinking game - where the loser of each race would have to take a shot of Vodka. After losing two straight games Toine downs the shot. Less than 5 seconds later it's back up and out ... and Toine spews it all right onto Brandon. I was snapping a pic of Toine when he took the drink and happened to press the button again to capture the direct, post-spew second. |

2nd Best July 25, 2006 Matt Hural and I happened to both be in Paris at the same time (I was visiting Richard and he was doing work for grad school). We both decided to be tourists one day and do the Eiffel Tower. Taking along our cameras, we suddenly felt inspired when arriving at the huge, open stairs standing in front of the tower. Matt set his camera for a 5-second timer and the result is us both in air (and in love), high-fiving over the Parisian sight. I defy you to find an awesomer photo (besides the one that beat this, that is). |
