A purchase? Nay! A way of life! Netflix quickly became an obsession after I decided to give it a try ... it only took me a month to figure out the maximum amount allowed in your movie queue (500). What a great service, and it just beat out the amp due to its bang-for-my-buck value.

Line 6 Vetta II (amplifier)
Though this was my second amp I've ever purchased, the Vetta II was really my first choice of all time. I used to constantly play the earlier models back in the late 90s in the Mars music store near my high school. So when I finally decided enough was enough and to get my dream amp it was a simple choice.

The Worst
Digital amp cord
Purchases don't get much worse than causing destruction to your new amp and necessitating a replacement as well. I wanted to upgrade the virtual system on my Vetta II shortly after buying and I thought I could save a few bucks by buying a generic brand connection cable from China. Yeah ... not the greatest of ideas as within five minutes of hooking the thing up I had wiped out my Vetta's memory.

$30 Monitor
I grew tired of jumping hurdle after hurdle while attempting to make recordings on my laptop so I hooked up my old desktop downstairs. The only problem was I hadn't planned ahead to bring my old monitor up during my move to New York so I, once again, turned to eBay. I thought I could get away with just buying a crappy monitor but the ony I ended up selecting was so old it couldn't even handle the signal being sent to it from my computer.
